Who we are

TruCo Technical Services LLC is the data controller for the personal information collected through truco.ae and our customer-facing services. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@truco.ae.

What we collect

When you book a visit through this site we collect:

• Your full name
• UAE mobile number
• Email address
• Property type (villa, townhouse, apartment)
• Community / location of the property
• Optional: number of AC units, preferred visit date and time, free-text notes

If you become a TruCo customer, we additionally maintain a service record for your property: visit dates, technician notes, photographs taken during scheduled work, and outcomes of any inspections.

On this marketing website we use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to record usage statistics (page views, device type, country, on-page interactions) and to measure our advertising. This data isn't linked to your name, email, or phone number. See our cookie policy for details and how to opt out.

Why we collect it

• To schedule and deliver the property visit you requested
• To produce a quotation tailored to your home
• To manage your account and bookings if you become a customer
• To respond to enquiries and provide ongoing customer support
• To improve the website and our service operations (anonymous analytics only)

Our legal basis for the booking-form data is your consent, given when you submit it. For ongoing customers, the basis is the maintenance contract between us. For website analytics and advertising measurement, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our marketing.

Who sees your data

Your details are only accessed by the TruCo operations team and the technician assigned to your property. We use the following third-party services to operate:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google): website usage statistics and conversion measurement
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel (Meta Platforms): measures our Facebook/Instagram advertising; receives page-view and conversion events from this website
• Laravel Forge / AWS: website hosting; processes server logs (IP address, request metadata) for performance and security

We do not sell your personal data. We use the Meta Pixel to measure and optimise our advertising, which shares limited website-event data with Meta as described above; we don't otherwise share your data with advertisers. Some of these services process data outside the UAE.

How long we keep it

Booking enquiries that don't convert to work are retained for up to 12 months, then deleted. For customers, we keep service records for 24 months after the last visit or project, long enough to honour warranties and support resale documentation requests.

Your rights

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (Personal Data Protection Law), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Object to specific uses of your data
• Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes are communicated to active customers by email.
