What it is
Microcement, in plain terms.
Seamless hand-applied cement at 2 to 3mm, with no joints and no grout lines. For feature walls, floors, wet rooms and staircases.
The tactile, monolithic look you see in Dubai's finest villas. It lives or dies on the preparation underneath, which is where most of the work goes.

How it goes on

Most of the work happens before the finish does. This is the order every job runs in, and we walk you through your version of it at the visit.

Substrate check
We look at what is there. Where the substrate is suitable, including sound existing tile, it goes straight over the top with no demolition.

Twelve finishes, seen in your light, agreed before we start.

The part that decides whether the finish lasts, and where most of the work goes.

Applied by hand
Built up in thin coats to 2 to 3mm by the crew trained on the material.

Microcement, answered.

Do you have to rip out my tiles?
Usually not. Where the existing surface is sound and suitable, microcement goes over the top. That is most of the appeal: no demolition, no skip, far less mess.

Does it crack?
It moves with the surface underneath, so the preparation and the right reinforcement matter more than the material does. A substrate that flexes is dealt with before anything is applied, which is what the survey is for.

Can it be used in a shower?
Yes, sealed for a wet room. The absence of grout lines is the reason many people ask for it there.

How many colours are there?
Twelve. Seven in the microcement range and five in the coating range, each hand-applied, so each carries its own mottle rather than a flat colour.

What does it cost?
From AED 210 per m². The exact figure depends on the substrate, the area and the finish, and we confirm it in writing after a free site visit.
